The KN2400 weighs 13,200 lbs., has a shearing force of 700
tons, and the mouth of the shear opens to 31”. Cranes
that weigh between 37 and 46 tons can mount the shear on the
main boom, while a crane must weigh between 50 to 60 tons
in order to mount the shear on the second boom.
